Edi is the School of Design of the Region of Murcia, a public educational institution, dependent on the Ministry of Education of the Autonomous Community of the Region of Murcia. Since 2003, it has offered degree programmes in design in the specialisations of Graphic Design, Interior Design, Fashion Design, and Product Design.
Edi is a community of over 400 students, teachers, and staff, growing each year with 90 new students. Edi is also our 764 alumni. Edi is also the students and faculty who visit us each semester through the Erasmus+ programme.
Edi is the first Spanish public educational institution to appear in the international ranking by The One Club for Creativity. It holds 3rd place in the national ranking and 12th in the European ranking.
The headquarters of Edi is located next to the University Campus of Espinardo, with easy access from the city of Murcia by public transport (tram and buses). The facilities allow the full development of the academic life: project workshops, photography studios, audiovisual and computer media workshops, study rooms and tutorials, a study hall, and a library…

It’s possible that you are someone who pays attention to your surroundings and appreciates the details. You may be attracted to aesthetics, but also to its applications and the technical, ethical, and communicative approaches behind it. Perhaps you are also interested in matters related to history in general, and art and objects in particular.
Edi prepares you to become a specialist in the codes of the specialty you choose, but always from a cross-disciplinary perspective, because design branches out and intersects with many paths—other specialisms—that address the needs of the society we live in.
Your time at Edi provides a broad perspective of the design landscape in Spain in relation to culture, history, and its development in various geographical areas, with a focus on Europe and the USA.
The environment at Edi is open and tolerant, demanding in terms of academic standards, but flexible in its approaches.
Edi is here to accompany you on your journey, to discover, and to be the mentor for your best qualities.
